Message from J.League Chairman

We can enjoy sports under secure community and a peaceful society.

Under the influence of the Great East Japan Earthquake and the Kumamoto Earthquake, it was difficult to hold any games.
Whenever there was torrential rain or typhoons, we had to make decisions to cancel games.  Not only natural disasters but the still on-going COVID-19 as well that it took four months to comprehend the situation and to take necessary steps.

Today, in some parts of the world people are facing a state of conflict and war and it is difficult to play sports under such critical situation.  Thanking for my everyday life which allows us to enjoy sports, I hope for world peace from the bottom of my heart.

Even in our everyday life where sports can be enjoyed, any violence, verbal abuse and discrimination are totally unacceptable.  The J.League will continuously take firm and uncompromising actions against such inhumane acts regardless of whether it was committed by individuals, organizations, or nations.
