J.League collaborate with the Japan Friendship Ties Programs “JENESYS”(Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths)

J.League collaborate with JENESYS, a program promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan to promote mutual trust and understanding among the peoples of Japan and the Asia-Pacific region, and to build a basis for future friendship and cooperation through football.

110 high school students including supervisor from ASEAN countries and Timor-Leste will visit Japan and participate in the opportunities to exchange information on SDGs and social contribution activities through football collaborated with IWAKI FC, JEF United Chiba, Kawasaki Frontale, Yokohama FMarinos and Shonan Bellmare.

 

Japan Friendship Ties Programs “JENESYS”

“JENESYS” is a people-to-people exchange program launched in 2015 between Japan and the Asia-Pacific region.

Objectives

To promote mutual trust and understanding among the peoples of Japan and the Asia-Pacific region, and to

build a basis for future friendship and cooperation.

Durations

Monday, October 28 – Monday, November 4

Participants

110 High school students and supervisors from ASEAN countries and Timor-Leste (9 students and 1 supervisor per country)Programs

Lecture by Takayuki TSUJII, J.League, Corporate executive officer in charge of sustainability

Lectures on the SDGs at participating club facilities (5 clubs below) and J Village, observation of activities

Participating Clubs

IWAKI FC, JEF United Chiba, Kawasaki Frontale, Yokohama FMarinos and Shonan Bellmare
