2024 J.LEAGUE YBC Levain CUP Prime Round Kawasaki Frontale, Yokohama F・Marinos, Albirex Niigata and Nagoya Grampus qualify for the Semi-final

Following the results of the 2024 J.LEAGUE YBC Levain CUP Prime Round Quarter-final 2nd leg, Kawasaki Frontale, Yokohama FMarinos, Albirex Niigata and Nagoya Grampus will qualify for the Semi-final.

The Semi-finals will be held on Wednesday, October 9 and Sunday, October 13, and matches will be played in home and away knock-out round matches.

Semi-finals
1st Leg: Wednesday, October 9/2nd Leg: Sunday, October 13

- Competition Format
Total of eight teams comprising five winning teams from the Play-off Round and the three teams (Kawasaki Frontale, Yokohama FMarinos and Ventforet Kofu) participated in AFC Champions League 2023/24 knockout stage play in a home and away tournament (There is only one match for the final).


- Quarterfinals, Semi-finals (home and away) 
In case a 90-minute match (two halves of 45 minutes each) is played and no winner is decided, the match ends in a tie.
The winner in each round is the team with the highest number of wins for two matches.
If the number of wins is the same, the ranking is determined based on the following, in order of priority. 
Goal difference for two matches
30-minute extra time (two halves of 15 minutes each) at the end of the 2nd leg
Penalty shoot-out
(Five players from each team. If the winner is not decided, the sixth and subsequent players will take turns to kick until the winner is decided.)


 - Final (One match) 
In case a 90-minute match (two halves of 45 minutes each) is played and no winner is decided, an extra 30 minutes (two halves of 15 minutes each) is played. If the winner is still not decided, the winner is decided by a penalty shoot-out. (Five players from each team. If the winner is not decided, the sixth and subsequent players will take turns to kick until the winner is decided.)
