The title match of the 2017 J.League International Youth Cup took place today (December 24) at Nagano U Stadium, with Gamba Osaka Youth defeating Sanfrecce Hiroshima Youth to win the championship. The tournament trophy was presented to the winners by J.League chairman Mitsuru Murai, while commemorative certificates were presented by Nagano Prefecture governor Hisao Kato. Each team also received 20 kilograms of locally-grown Fuji apples from Nagano City and the Nagano City Council of Agricultural Associations.
The golden boot winner was Retsushi HARADA from Gamba Osaka Youth with 6 goals, and Naoya OISHI from Gamba Osaka Youth was named as MVP of the tournament.
